The first day of our Intake was successfully commenced.
Students of different backgrounds and even countries were dropped off by their parents seeking for a different future for their children were seen stopping their cars and letting their kids out. These teenagers would be the first to be future examples for our students to come.
The first day of our Topic session "Be Your Own (Video) Producer" started off with our lecturer introducing Adobe Illustrator to the young an inexperienced hearts of the class. They began fiddle around with the setting but soon enough they started to gain traction in the simple functions. There were some that struggled with the progression and required a bit more guidance, but ultimately everyone was in time to tick all the boxes of task given by our lecturer.
As the marketer of Animage Academy, it was a proud scene to see our first batch of students finishing their first class and exiting the classroom, accompanied by a satisfied look on the face of the lecturer.
"They kept up at a speedy pace, these students were a good bunch to deal with." he said.
"Really?", I was surprised, given that one of our students was barely 12 years' old.
The lecturer later updated on each of their progress and I was astounded by the youngest of them all. Not only her managed to complete the task in a limited amount of class hours, he was the talkative of all. I supposed it's the excitement and curiosity that prompted him to engage with the class, leading to a deeper relationship with everyone.
At the end of the class, students had a little bit more conversations with their classmates as each of them was picked up by their parents. I gave myself a mental pat-in-the-back and awaited for their next class.
It was a good start for Animage Academy.
